Pumpkin (भोपळा) Poori

Pumpkin Poori is a crispy sweet snack that can be enjoyed any time, you have an urge for a quick sweet bite. Rich in iron, pumpkin poori’s are good for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Grated Red Pumpkin without skin
- 3/4 cup Grated Jaggery
- 1/2 cup Fresh grated coconut
- Wheat flour
- Cooking Oil
Recipe
- Mix 1 cup of Grated Red pumpkin, 3/4 cup Jaggery and 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut in a thick bottom pan
- Steam the mixture on medium heat for about 5 to 7 minutes occasionally covering it to hold the steam
- Let the mixture cool and then add enough wheat flour and knead well till the dough becomes easier to roll
- Make small balls from the dough and roll these into Pooris
- Deep fry the pooris till golden brown on both sides
