In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, ECHO Incorporated fundraised for Twisted Pink, a Louisville-based organization that provides better access to care for people living with metastatic breast cancer, during Equip Exposition in Louisville this month. In addition to raising money and awareness for the disease, ECHO also debuted four new gas chainsaws, a 56V battery push lawn mower and a Speed-Feed Trimmer Head. Aluminum Grass Trimmer Head

Each year during the show, ECHO works with a carver from Bear Hollow Wood Carvers (BHWC), who spends three days at ECHO’s outdoor demo area, carving statues using ECHO’s chainsaws. These statues are then donated to a non-profit organization where they’ll be raffled off; this year, Jason Emmons from BHWC was carving for Twisted Pink.
Additionally, ECHO sold custom-made breast cancer tee-shirts at the outdoor demo area, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Twisted Pink. On top of Equip Exposition activities, a $5,000 corporate donation to Twisted Pink will be donated from ECHO, and each year, the company fundraises for Susan G. Komen via an annual employee shirt sale.
During the show, ECHO also launched four new gas chainsaws, a 56V battery push lawn mower and a Speed-Feed® Trimmer Head.

The new battery-electric compact excavator joins E10e and E32e.
Bobcat Company has unveiled the latest machine in its electric excavator lineup: the E19e compact excavator.
The battery-electric excavator was unveiled during the first day of the bauma 2022 trade fair in Munich. Bobcat has recently introduced numerous electric machines to offer customers solutions for their unique jobsite needs.
“With the introduction of the E19e, Bobcat has expanded its electric line-up of zero-emission and quiet machines that can match the excellent performance of our conventional models,” said Doosan Bobcat CEO Scott Park. “This unit will build on the success of our smaller E10e, the world’s first electric mini excavator launched during bauma 2019.”
The E19e compact excavator offers a compact footprint, quiet operation and zero emissions. The electrical motors deliver full torque, regardless of rpm, providing top productivity, smooth hydraulic control and on-demand multifunctioning performance with no noticeable power drop.
Like the E10e and the E32e, the E19e offers a run time of four hours of continuous operation on its lithium-ion battery pack. It charges with a standard 120-volt outlet, requiring eight hours to fully charge. While applications vary, each charge can support common daily work operations and the use of work modes for up to four hours of continuous operation time and a full day of operation during intermittent use or a typical contractor workday.
“As a pioneer in the field of battery-powered equipment, Bobcat innovations have helped to drive an industry-wide shift toward electric excavators and other construction equipment,” Park said. “Our team is proud of its contributions in this segment to date, and we will continue to invest in research and development to further accelerate this important trend.”
Producing zero emissions, the battery-electric excavators support environmentally sensitive worksites. They allow users to operate inside structures where diesel exhaust is restricted. The equipment offers significantly lower noise levels and vibration, which improves jobsite communication and allows work in sound-sensitive areas.
Additional information on the E19e’s North American debut and availability to customers will be forthcoming.
The company is introducing the Intrepid KM85 and Intrepid KM130 Tele.
Importer and distributor of mini articulating loaders, Miniloaders.com, announces that it brings two new models of articulating loaders to the U.S. market. The Intrepid KM85 and Intrepid KM130 Tele are now available alongside the Intrepid KM100 Tele, the latter of which was introduced by the company in 2018.
The KM85 is unique, having a service weight just short of 2000 lbs. The KM130 Tele will come in heavier at 4000 lbs. and is equipped with a telescopic boom. Intrepid loaders are built in Belgium by family-run manufacturer Geens Brothers.
The KM85 comes with a small frame width of 32 inches and 1000 lbs. rated operating capacity.
“It has an excellent power-to-weight ratio as it is equipped with a 23HP D902 Kubota engine. This engine is usually seen in heavier industry peers,” said Chris Sleurink, owner of Miniloaders.com.
The KM85 will be targeted specifically at those who need the lift performance of mini-skid-steers, but are looking for a turf-friendly and compact alternative. A unique feature of the KM85 is its dual-wheel setup.
“The operator can remove the outer wheel by removing a single bolt, decreasing the total width from 47.5 in. to 35.5 in.,” Sleurink said. “This makes it possible to haul debris and materials through a standard 36 in. wide gate.”
The KM130 Tele boasts an operating capacity of around 2000 lbs., a four-cylinder Kubota engine and 10.5 ft. lift height.
“A distinguishing feature of all Intrepid articulating loaders is a solid, steel construction. This allows us to sell to multiple industries, regardless of jobsite conditions,” Sleurink said.
The KM130 Tele will be equipped with an MT-style universal mount plate and hydraulic quick-connect. Furthermore, the KM100 Tele and KM130 Tele now come standard with a hand-throttle. Once the operator sets a desired RPM level, the foot throttle pedal in turn determines drive speed (instead of RPM). This allows customers to better use continuous-flow attachments like sweepers and mowers. It also allows customers to select the fixed-RPM drive mode as seen with skid-steers.
Intrepid loaders are sold and distributed directly to the end-user out of Wisconsin.

Agriculture PET Wire “We’re seeing steady sales across the U.S., mainly to green industry customers such as arborists and landscapers,” Sleurink said. “Our KM100 Tele is popular among tree care companies because of its compact size and telescoping boom, but above all due to its articulated steering which results in minimal lawn damage. In introducing these loaders I anticipate the same success as seen with the KM100 Tele. The KM130 Tele is the manufacturers’ best-selling loader in Europe. I hope to see the same here within the next few years.”
