BRIEF INTRODUCTION
With the advent of data communication and telecommunications technology, MAN systems have gradually developed to become a full service network that integrates voice data and image.
Reduction in the signal intensity in the MAN system is not an important factor to consider since the signal transmission distance would be less than 100km Hence an optical amplifier is not needed in this system where CWDM is used.
CWDM is the abbreviation for coarse wavelength division multiplexer. At its most basic the CWDM is a signal combiner. It combines multiple signals on laser beams at various wavelengths for transmission along a single optical line. This wavelength division multiplexer allows lights with wavelengths from 1,270nm to1,610nm to travel through 18 channels spaced 20nm apart. KOC CWDM products can be used ABS box or 1U Rack packaging.
Benefits of using this multiplexer include low cost low consumption a small physical size and flexible mounting. All the CWMD devices from our company have been through temperature cycle test and drop test that lasts for 24 hours. Hence we can assure customers of high reliability and stability of our product.
