- Built only for track use

- Gets a notable power bump over the standard bike

In July, Aprilia’s track-only offering was spotted testing; now, the Noale-based brand has unveiled its production model. Dubbed the Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta, the new supersports offering is built exclusively for track use and is limited to 100 units.

The XTrenta’s silhouette looks similar to that of the standard RSV4. But it gets carbon fibre bodywork developed by Modena-based PAN Compisiti. The XTrenta gets new front and rear winglets along with an underwing design on the swingarm. The latter was used on Aprilia’s GP bikes back in 2019. Overall, the aero kit is aimed to reduce the drag by four percent and increase the load by 25 percent.

Powering the new Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta is a 1,099cc liquid-cooled V4 engine with the output rated at 230bhp, about 13bhp more than the standard model. The power bump is a result of the titanium and carbon fibre full system exhaust from SC-Project. The bike also benefits from Magneti Marelli ECU for power delivery.

Aprilia has equipped the RSV4 XTrenta with Ohlins front forks and a rear monoshock. And the braking hardware comes from Brembo as twin 330mm front discs held by GP4-MS billet monobloc calipers. It rides on forged magnesium Marchesini M7R GENESI alloys wrapped in 120/70 front and 200/65 rear Pirelli Diablo SBK tyres.

Aprilia has priced the XTrenta at EUR 50,000 (approximately Rs 40 lakh excluding the taxes). As mentioned earlier, it’s limited to just 100 units worldwide and the chances of it making to the Indian shores are bleak.
